Our Story

Welcome to the launch of the eFileBuddy 1099-NEC filing platform for accountants. Founder Aladdin Connolly created the patented 1099-NEC filing platform to eliminate the many frustrations he experienced when running his own accounting firm.
 
Mr. Connolly has a background in Accounting and humanitarian work overseas. He was determined to focus his creativity on a solution to the tedious work of hounding clients for their 1099 data and manually entering the info into software to file with the IRS.
 
He hit upon a simple solution. Automate the process by giving a free portal to each of his clients to manage their contractors and submit the completed 1099 data to the accountant with a single click. Thus, eFileBuddy was born to bring 1099 filing into the 21st century.
